Game Day Recap: November 3-5, 2025 

OHA Edmonton (2) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (5) Female U18 Prep 

Myla Motz opened the scoring with her fifth goal of the season, beating Harlee Houle (23/27) on the power play. Taye Baker scored her first of the season 1:04 into the second and Teylor Crocker extended the lead a few minutes later. Jocelyn Bodnar (2G) got OHA Edmonton on the board midway through the frame but Riley Bourque’s first of the year restored the SAHA three goal lead going into the third. Bodnar tallied the first goal of the third and a late power play gave OHA Edmonton the opportunity to come back, but a Tien Woo shorthanded, empty net goal secured the SAHA win. Mika Yokota (24/26) made 24 saves in net to record her second win of the season.  

Edge School (4) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (7) U17 Prep 

CIHA (5-0-0) stayed undefeated on the season with a 7-4 win over Calgary rivals Edge School (7-2-0) Wednesday. Eric Savage Keller opened the scoring 5:36 in before Luke McGuire (1G, 2A) and Winston Chicilo (2G) traded goals to close out the period. Keegan Brown (1G, 2A) doubled the CIHA lead 15 seconds into the second before Jack Boutillier (1G, 1A) responded with a power play goal midway through the period for Edge. Owen Wiemer’s first of the season, in his first game of the year, put CIHA back ahead by two going into the third. Nolen Miller scored on the power play 49 seconds into the period and Tyler Carpenter added his seventh just 37 seconds later as Edge quickly erased the two-goal deficit. However, Rylan Wood (1G, 2A) scored the eventual CIHA game winner less than two minutes later and Chicilo and Tomas Figura (1G, 1A) added late goals to secure the CIHA victory. Colton Lutz (31/35) and Zach Henry (30/37) were in net for their respective teams.  

 Notre Dame Hounds (2) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (4) U17 

Carter Rands scored his third of the season 2:03 into the game as Notre Dame grabbed an early 1-0 lead. Soren Hayden (3G, 1A) would tie the game 11:42 later before giving Prairie the lead 7:35 into the second. Jake Myhre (1G, 1A) double the lead eight minutes later with a power play marker, his eighth goal of the season. Devin Doyle (1G, 1A) would get one back for Notre Dame 2:15 later, beating Conner Aldag (40/42) for his second goal of the season. Notre Dame would apply pressure in the third, outshooting Prairie 14-6 but Hayden would complete the hat-trick 2:02 into the period to secure the Prairie victory.
